Otis' Newest Friend

So we say that Hayden was Otis's first friend since she stayed with us right after Otis arrived and as of this weekend Hayden has a little sister, Emerson! She weighs in a little over eight pounds (just like Otis), and he is excited to get to meet this new play-toy, I mean play-mate! We were able to see the new addition this weekend and pray that the Hults family has an easy (if that is possible) adjustment from one amazing child to two. We can't wait to get

to know her more.

About Us-

We met on a mission trip to Thailand in 2003. After getting married in May of 2005 we were able to go back to where it all started in Bangkok for our honeymoon. We are both Purdue graduates & now live in Indianapolis where Kirk works for DonorsChoose.org, an amazing education nonprofit that you simply must check out. In April 2009 we had our first daughter, Eliza, & she changed our world! This July we welcomed our second daughter, Matilda!

This blog is our way of documenting life as we grow. We hope along the way you find it interesting, & that one day our children can look back & enjoy. This is not our entire life account, but simply snapshots where we share our highs & even some lows along the way. Our greatest hope is that we glorify God each day, but quickly recognize how we fall short & need a Savior. There is a peace we find in knowing that our debts have been paid, & we are free. We pray that through Him we can love our children, family, & our community well.
