Pre-Thanksgiving Meal

Here was our first dinner in Michigan. We had lamb shanks and couscous with the last of the Swiss chard from our garden.

About Us-

We met on a mission trip to Thailand in 2003. After getting married in May of 2005 we were able to go back to where it all started in Bangkok for our honeymoon. We are both Purdue graduates & now live in Indianapolis where Kirk works for DonorsChoose.org, an amazing education nonprofit that you simply must check out. In April 2009 we had our first daughter, Eliza, & she changed our world! This July we welcomed our second daughter, Matilda!

This blog is our way of documenting life as we grow. We hope along the way you find it interesting, & that one day our children can look back & enjoy. This is not our entire life account, but simply snapshots where we share our highs & even some lows along the way. Our greatest hope is that we glorify God each day, but quickly recognize how we fall short & need a Savior. There is a peace we find in knowing that our debts have been paid, & we are free. We pray that through Him we can love our children, family, & our community well.
